Bio

My name is Patricia Gomez and i am a freshman at Johnson and Wales University majoring in International Business. I was born and raised  in a beautiful island called Dominican Republic. When i turned twelve my parents decided to move to the USA for a "better life". Coming to the USA was a big change in my life, it was a NEW start. I had to make new friends and learn a new language. Not knowing too much English was always a problem i had to work extra hard to get good grades.

I went to Southeastern Regional Technical Vocational High School in Easton, MA. I studied Business and Marketing for four years. Throughout high school i was always involved in alto of activities, events and sports.I was the Volleyball's team captain for two years, played softball, and was on the cheer leading team. Junior year i became a Massachusetts DECA state officer. DECA is a business organization for marketing students. Ive made it to Nationals for DECA and have been to California, Kentucky and Florida to compete. Finally i was the Schools  Student Representative for my high school.
